Stay Ready for School
Program Description:
Stay Ready prepares our under-resourced communities to improve school readiness by addressing food security, primary care/behavioral health care/oral health care access, employment and training opportunities, access to living wage jobs and housing stability, in addition to increasing the capacity/utilization of early childhood partners.
Eligibility:

- Be a parent or guardian of child between the ages of 0-5
- Be a Roots member whose basic needs are being met
- Be ready, willing, and able to participate in Stay Ready for School activities

Stay Ready for School is a School Readiness and Family Support project made possible by First 5 Alameda County, Roots Community Health Center, Healthy Black Families, Ujimaa Foundation & Village Connect
Each month offers virtual events that are Child-Centric, Mother-Centric, Father-Centrc, Female-Centric, Male-Centric, Parent Centric, Family-Centric, created to provide space for each to learn and grow.
