Roderick Stevenson’s Bio

 

 

Roderick Stevenson is Director of Planning and Development for Roots Community Health Center.  Before joining Roots, Roderick was Transportation Commissioner for Tracy, CA.  Before returning to California in 2018, Roderick co-founded and directed for more than 15 years Futures’ Inc., a Birmingham, Alabama-based services organization working with at-risk youth and families and developing and disseminating violence prevention strategies.  While in Alabama, Roderick also served as Operating Partner for Social Media Campaign Solutions, LLC, helped coordinate the University of Alabama-Birmingham’s Minority Business Training and Development Program, and managed the campaign of State Representative John W. Rogers (House Dist. 52).  Roderick began his professional life in the mid-1990s as a Transitional Housing Director for Larkin Street Youth Services, in San Francisco and holds a degree in Behavioral Health Sciences.
