Workforce Enterprises & Training

Training and employment opportunities are provided for those who have been disconnected from the workforce. This includes didactic instruction, basic skills training, paid work experience, and removal of barriers to employment.

Roots operates workforce enterprises that manufacture goods and services and provide employment and skills training for participants so they can secure and sustain economic stability.

Our internship programs prepare participants with employable skills that translate directly to the workforce.

Community Health Workforce Training

Roots trains frontline community health workers in navigation, care management, benefits enrollment and outreach. Roots also serves as a training site for medical assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, medical students and medical residents, as well as those pursuing a career in public health.
