Registration Walk-up, Online or Telephone Online pre-registration only takes about 3 minutes and speeds up the process when you arrive. Please pre-register before 8:30 am on the day you wish to be tested. If it is after 8:30 am on the day you would like to be tested, please just come to the site and we will register you there. Also note, registrations more than 30 days old will be deleted, so please re-register if needed. See you soon!

Return of Results Positive test results are delivered immediately by telephone call (we MUST have a reliable way to reach you) Negative results are returned as soon as possible but can be delayed given the need to prioritize positive results return. Thank you for your patience in receiving your negative results. On registration, please indicate when asked if we can leave a negative result on your voicemail or email it to you; this will expedite results return and eliminate the back-and-forth in trying to connect by phone if you do not answer. To inquire about your results if you have not heard back in 4-5 days, please email records@rootsclinic.org. Roots (San Jose) – If you want your results emailed to you, please email us requesting results at SBrecords@rootsclinic.org. Please include your name, date of birth and the date you were tested. Please expect an email response within 24hrs.

Test Turnaround Time 2-5 calendar days Laboratory partners are reporting a dramatic increase in the volume of COVID testing and some sites are reporting significant delays in turnaround time this week.
Cost? Free
Insurance Required? No. We do ask for insurance information in case it can assist us with reimbursement in the future, but this is completely optional.
